My path into therapeutic bodywork began long before I enrolled in formal training. I was inspired by observing my mother, a physical therapist who also became an Expert Level Myofascial Release practitioner. Experiencing her work, and witnessing her heal others, showed me that effective treatment relies on robust scientific understanding, as well as energetically intuitive, intentional touch.
I deepened my own scientific understanding with 600-hours in Massage Therapy training from the Philadelphia School of Massage & Bodywork, where I developed a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and safe, effective touch. This training focused on Swedish Massage and emphasized not only the mechanics of technique but also the importance of clinical reasoning, assessment, and supporting the nervous system’s role in healing. Swedish massage remains a central part of my work—its flowing strokes, gentle mobilization, and rhythmic pacing help reduce muscular tension, improve circulation, and allow clients to settle into a calmer, more restorative state.
As I continued to learn, I became increasingly drawn to the lymphatic system and its vital role in recovery, inflammation reduction, and overall wellness. This led me to complete a 45-hour Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) Certification in the Dr. Vodder Method through Klose Training one of the most respected and comprehensive programs for Manual Lymphatic Drainage in the United States, offering rigorous, evidence-informed instruction grounded in high professional standards. The Vodder method taught me how to use precise, light, rhythmic movements to encourage lymph flow, assist in clearing metabolic waste, and reduce fluid retention. This technique is especially valuable for clients recovering from surgery, managing chronic swelling, or seeking gentle, focused support for their immune system.
In my practice at Fascia + Flow Bodywork, I blend these modalities—Swedish massage, elements of fascial awareness, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage—to create treatments that are both therapeutic and deeply supportive. I approach each session with curiosity and care, taking time to assess tissue quality, structural patterns, and the overall state of the client’s nervous system. My goal is to meet each person where they are, whether they need focused work to ease discomfort or a calming environment to reconnect with themselves.
I practice evidence-informed techniques with steady pacing and a grounded presence. Touch, when delivered with intention and knowledge, can help the body shift out of chronic tension patterns and into a state where healing becomes more accessible. Clients often tell me that they feel “more themselves” after a session—more relaxed, more open, more at home in their bodies. That is the experience I strive to support.
Beyond technique, what matters most to me is creating a space that feels safe, attentive, and respectful. I understand that each person arrives with their own history, sensitivities, and goals, and I honor that by tailoring every session to their unique needs. Whether you’re seeking relief from tension, support after surgery, improved mobility, or simply a moment of calm, my intention is to help you feel more fluid, balanced, and at ease.
